La Chevauchée Entre Lesse et Lomme

As its name suggests, this horse-riding route connects the forested valleys of the Lesse and the Lomme, following each river for a while. Between the two, the route passes through Redu, where, in contrast to the surrounding nature, you will catch sight of the European Space Security and Education Centre (ESEC), nestled in the landscape. You will also ride through the charming little “Bois des Légendes”, a woodland steeped in Ardennes legends. Further on, the vast Troufferies nature reserve opens up before you, with its wide-open heathland landscapes emerging as you leave the forest.
